The importance of being colorful.

How do colors affect purchase? This is the question raised by KISSmetrics. I have to admit that in my case, as consumer, it counts, and a lot. Mostly for new products, of course. But how many new products are delivered to (on-line) shops every day? And the competition getting high, a bright color and a nice packaging can help the buyers to make the choice. Check out this infographic if you want to know more:

Holstee manifesto.

This manifesto matches with, at least, 80% of my to do list for 2012.

Left brain / Right brain

Left Brain:
“I am the left brain. I am a scientist. A mathematician. I love the familiar. I categorize. I am accurate. Linear. Analytical. Strategic. I am practical. Always in control. A master of words and language. Realistic. I calculate equations and play with numbers. I am order. I am logic. I know exactly who I am.”

Right Brain:
“I am the right brain. I am creativity. A free spirit. I am passion. Yearning. Sensuality. I am the sound of roaring laughter. I am taste. The feeling of sand beneath bare feat. I am movement. Vivid colors. I am the urge to paint on an empty canvas. I am boundless imagination. Art. Poetry. I sense. I feel. I am everything I wanted to be.”

Optimism works better than pessimism

I agree with that…and Inc. on-line magazine has serious arguments about optimism, at work and in real life:

“The sooner you accept the fact that you will have both successes and failures, the easier it will be to get your business and personal life headed in the right direction”.

Isn’t it?
